If there’s someone who can take baby showers to a whole new level, that would have to be reality TV royalty Kim Kardashian.
Kim, who is preparing for the arrival of her fourth child with husband, Kanye West, via surrogate, had a zen-inspired baby shower and offered cannabis to her guests. She wanted her friends to relax and unwind with CBD before enjoying a meditation session at her home in Hidden Hills, California.
The 38-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star explained that she went for a super-zen theme because she needed to ease her nerves for the imminent birth of her new baby. She nervously revealed that the due date for Baby No. 4 is “like two weeks” away and that she is freaking out.
CBD or cannabidiol is a chemical component found in cannabis that does not create a high and is known for its therapeutic and relaxing effects. Cannabis is legal in the state of California.
Kim invited her guests to put on some CBD oil or have a puff, enjoy a singing crystal bowl sound-bath, and meditate. She put up a designated CBD table in her garden with high-quality and board-certified products provided by HelloMD. Sources reported that there were CBD doctors around to answer guests’ questions.
According to Kim, her guests made “CBD everything,” including oils and bath salts. They also received a bevy of CBD-infused goodies.
Kim had also laid yoga mats in a big circle and two women were manning giant gongs for the sound-bath. The stress-free occasion also embraced alternative health and wellness as Kim provided her guests with Kombucha, which is fermented green tea. Her husband also custom-designed Yeezy sliders for everyone at the party.
Additionally, Kim provided a name board for guests to write their name suggestions for her upcoming bundle of joy.
Celebrity friends who attended the unique and quirky outdoor baby shower included Chrissy Tiegen, Paris Hilton, Olivia Pierson, Nicole Williams, and Larsa Pippen.
Kim and Kanye are already parents to daughters North, 5, and Chicago, 1, and son Saint, 3. Baby No. 4 is going to be a boy.
