EnviroTechnologies International Inc., which is a company that develops and markets natural and organic products for various industries, will be introducing a new water treatment technology to legal cannabis growers in the northwest. This patent-pending technology, called EO Machines, will help eliminate growth-impeding pathogens and stimulate cannabis harvest yields.
This is just an example of new advancements in agricultural technology that are inspired by the recent growth of the cannabis industry. And since the Farm Bill was passed late last year, there has been a nationwide expansion in the development and distribution of hemp and CBD products. And this expansion has created a need for new, cutting-edge agricultural technologies.
According to EnviroTechnologies President Gaylord Karren, the existence and prevalence of fungi and other contaminants in almost all phases of cannabis and hemp plant growth, harvest, and post-harvest product processing has not been adequately covered.
He explained that the presence of mold and fungi in indoor and outdoor cannabis growth facilities is not only dangerous but it also negatively affects the growth cycle of the plant, killing large portions of the crop. This also leaves bacterial residue on the plants, as well as on the facilities. As a result, the growth and harvest yield is reduced.
The problem with this, Karren added, is that there is no real non-toxic solution to get rid of mold and fungal presence in cultivation facilities.
EnviroTechnologies claims to have the only real, effective, and non-toxic solution to sanitizing plant facilities.
EnviroTechnologies’ state-of-the-art EO Machines create Powered Water®, which is an electrolyzed oxidative fluid that offers a safe, effective, and non-toxic cleaning solution. These EO Machines create two separate and efficacious cleaning solutions. One is a high-PH, alkaline fluid with the ability to emulsify oils, lipids, soils, and minerals. The other is a low-PH, acidic fluid that is a Hypochlorous Ionic disinfectant that can kill 99.9% of microbial pathogens.
The company conducted several tests with Pacific CA Services in Washington state before placing the EO Machines with prominent apple growers in the northwest. According to Pacific CA Services CEO Jim Wooldridge, their first tests using Powered Water® were unbelievable, as the EO Machine fluids not only removed the soil and mold growth in the fruit storage rooms but also validated that the disinfecting solution killed residual mild and bacteria.
